Rosebud Secondary College Library

Our library is a unique, bookshop-style space, right in the heart of the school.

It serves as a gathering place for book lovers and readers, as well as for students looking to study or relax.

Our library’s main goal is to foster a reading culture by hosting a variety of events with writers and illustrators throughout the year.

Reading for enjoyment is supported by the extensive fiction collection which is shelved by genre.

During recreational times, our library is an inclusive place for students who choose to immerse themselves in a book, take part in BASE Reading Squad, participate in lunchtime workshops, play board games and jigsaw puzzles, use technology, or do private study.

Student library assistants serve as volunteers. They are encouraged to take the initiative, accept responsibility for various tasks, collaborate in a team, and problem solve, all of which are valuable skills in the workplace.

Our library is open every day before, during, and after school.
